2021 Christmas: Senator Bomai felicitates with Christian Community in Yobe South.

Senator Ibrahim Mohammed Bomai of Yobe South has felicitated with the Christian community in the Zone as they celebrates 2021 Christmas.

In a statement signed by the Senator, he stated that “As our christian brethren and sisters in Yobe South join the rest of the world in commemorating this year’s Christmas, I enjoin them to make a sober reflection of the economic and security challenges facing our great country and pray for peace, unity, progress and prosperity of our dear nation”.

He added that, “We are highly proud of our Christian community in Yobe South for contributing to the peace and unity of not only our Zone but indeed the State and for participating and contributing immensely to the progress and development of our Country at large. Our diversity in faith should never disunite us because many families in our communities belong to different religions and therefore we are all one people.”

The Senator expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Christian community for the support they have been rendering to him throughout his political journey.

Furthermore, Senator Bomai assured the Christians that, he will continue to substantiate the mandate given to him by the people of the Zone through justifying the confidence reposed in him in bringing the dividends of democracy to their door steps.

Meanwhile, the Senator gave the sum of two million Naira (N2,000,000.00) to Christian community as a Christmas gift and as part of his gesture to enable them celebrate the Yuletide with ease considering the present economic hardship. 

This gesture by the Senator is in line with his resolve to improve the welfare of the good people of Yobe South Senatorial District.

Senator Bomai prayed for a merry celebration, more showers of blessings from God and a prosperous New year as they celebrate the 2021 Christmas.
