2022 BUDGET: Bauchi State Government Commence Public Hearing on 2022 Budget.

Bauchi State Governemnt has commenced public hearing on citizens participation in preparation of 2022 budget in Bauchi South sentorial Districts.
Declearing the public hearing open the state Commissioner for budget and Economic Planning Aminu Hammayo said the process was inline with provision of the law towards the development of physical strategy paper and medium term expenditure frame work.
Aminu Hammayo explained that the budge is assume on the projection of oil productions at 1:9 million barrels per day on the bench mark at 57 dollar per barrels.
He said base on the assumption a total of one hundred and sventy seven billion naira and expenditure of one hundred and fifty six billion naira has been projected in the 2022 budget.
The commissioner of budget emphases that the ongoing capital project in the state would be funded in the 2022 budget with new ones and request for critical inputs from participants inline with development objectives for adoption in the 2022 budget.
Aminu Hammayo assured that the revnue of the state would increase when oil exploration began in the Kolmani oil wells which has reach appreciable level.
“We are also aware that the Nigeria National Petroleum corporation has commence Exploration activities in Kolmani River Alkaleri local government in Barambu Village.there is indication there is a discovery of Hydrocarbon oil and gas in large commercial quantity,as a matter of fact the NNPC has invited expression of interest for those that are interested for the oil wells that is created in Alkaleri,oil prospective license number 809 and oil prospective license number 810 this are our own.
What this means is if we are able to explore what we have then have become an oil producing state we will be entitled to 13 percent derivation,we will generate alots of development which will mean to improve lives of our people.
In a remark the commissioner for local government and Chieftancy Affairs Abdulrazak Nuhu Zaki said the state is planning ways of improving internally generated revenue to Augument shortfalls from the monthly federal allocation.
Abdulrahman Nuhu Zaki appeal to Bauchi state citizens to always pray for present administration to succeed.
In a presentation on the essence of the meeting,the permanent Secretary ministry of budget and economic planning Yahuza Adamu said the public hearing is to afford citizens participation in budget formulation aim at bringing government closer to the people.
The participants were drew from all the seven local government in the zone representative of women and youth organization as well as persons living with disabilities.
