2023 Census: NPC charge census facilitators to be security conscious

National Population commission has charged this year census facilitators to be security conscious while carrying the assignment.
The Federal Commissioner of the commission in Kano Dr. Isma’il Sulaiman stated this while flagging off ceremony of training for the facilitators of the forthcoming 2023 census.
He said they will provide security personnel to the facilitators and other ad hock staff of the commission so as to conduct the census with out any problem .
“You have to be vigilant because of the current security situation in Nigeria, so make sure you inform security any suspicious move “. He said
The Federal Commissioner said the commission has concluded all arrangement in terms security, equipment and other logistics in order to have smooth conduct of the exercise.
He added that when the facilitators complete the training they are expected to step down and train to other census functionaries especially denominators ,supervisors and filled Coordinators at local government level.
“This census is technologically driven, this census is using the most advanced technological method to under take enumerations”
He advised the facilitators to give their own contribution in insuring smooth conduct of the exercise.
