Gov Fintiri vows to utilize opportunities for the development of the state

Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri says he will utilize every opportunity before him for the benefit of the people of the state.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri stated this when he received the newly sworn in CAN Executives Adamawa State chapter led by the state Chairman, Reverend Joel Danjuma Manzo who were at the government house on a courtesy visit.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Said through out his tenure as the governor of the state he has ruled with the fear of God and being fare to all the citizens of the state irrespective of affiliations, ensuring that the state is developed.

The governor called on the state leadership of CAN to encourage interfaith relationship putting the state first before any other thing.

Governor Fintiri assured of his administration’s support to the association in order to realize its objectives and the dreams of the people of the state, stressing that God has a purpose of choosing them to be leaders, hence the need to utilize the opportunity for the benefit of the people.

Earlier in his remarks, the Adamawa state CAN chairman, Reverend Danjuma Manzo stated that the newly sworn in exco members were at the government house to introduce themselves and intimate the governor on their intentions to enhance religions tolerance, peaceful coexistence and interdenominational collaborations towards the development of the state.

Reverend Manzo congratulated the governor on behalf of the association for a successful and fruitful first tenure and one one year anniversary in his second term as the governor of the state and encouraged him to continue in his giant strides of developing the state in areas of security, health, education and infrastructure so as to support economic activities for the advancement of the state.

The chairman further called on residents of the state to embrace peaceful coexistence and togetherness devoid of religious, political or tribal intolerance adding that all this are important for advancement of democracy.

Highpoint of the visit was a presentation of plaque of excellence by the women wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria to the governor.
