Gov. Buni Felicitates with Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir

Yobe state Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON, felicitates with the Muslim Ummah on this very auspicious occassion of Eid-el-Kabir Sallah celebration.
As contained in a Sallah message released by his media aide Mamman Mohammed, Governor Buni noted that the government and good people of Yobe state are indeed thankful to Almighty Allah for the continued peace and stability enjoyed across the state.
“We should use the occassion to thank Allah (SWT) and to pray for more peace and development of our dear state and country” Buni said.
He assured the people that his administration would concentrate on more human capital and infrastructural developments to improve the lives of the people.
“We shall in the new dispensation promote self reliance and employment opportunities for economic growth of our people especially the youth” he said.
The governor assured an open door policy to allow everyone participate and contribute to the development of the state irrespective of socio-cultural and political differences, “every citizen of the state is a stakeholder in the development of Yobe state”.
The governor also congratulated the state contingent performing this year’s Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia and urged them to pray for the state.
He charged traditional, religious and opinion leaders to preach peace and peaceful coexistence among their subjects.
“Let me call on our youth to please celebrate the Sallah peacefully, and especially with strict observation to traffic laws.
“The security agencies are to ensure adherence to law and order for a peaceful and successful Sallah celebration” Governor Buni directed.
Governor Buni prayed to Allah (SWT) to accept our prayers, sacrifice and supplications.
He wished everyone a peaceful and memorable Sallah celebration.
