New Service Chiefs celebrate Sallah with injured Troops in the Northeast.

The New Service Chiefs comprising Chief of Army Staff and his Air Force counterpart stormed headquarters of Operation Hadin Kai in Maiduguri to celebrate Eid El Kabir celebration with the Troops on a combine Sallah luncheon and served lunch to wounded Soldiers who were hospitalised in the Medical facility of Theatre Command.

The visit is their first official engagement of the Service Chiefs outside Abuja since their assumption of Office last week.

The Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja had while addressing the Troops reiterated to transform the Nigerian Army into well trained, equipped and motivated Force towards achieving Constitutional responsibilities within a joint environment.

The Chief of Army Staff said Sallah Celebration embodies courage, selfless service, discipline and integrity which are the core values of Nigeria Army and urge the troops in all Theatres across the Nation to leverage the spirituality of the Occasion to pray and combat Security Challenges.

Major General Taoreed Lagbaja explained synergy among the security Agencies will help decimate the advisaries and achieve economy of efforts and better resources management in an assymatric nature of the Warfare.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar said the Nigerian Air Force shall to support the Nigerian Army in fighting the enemies of the Country which resulted in the successes in the Theater of operation especially in Sambisa forest, Mandara Mountain and Timbuktu triangle.

Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar added the fighting capability of Nigeria Air Force is been strengthen by the Federal Government with the expected induction of additional flatforms into the Nigeria Air Force inventory.

In a remark, Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum had while commending the Nigerian Military for their gallantry in the restoration of peace in the North East, assured the commitment of his administration to support the Military and announced the donation of ten (10) million naira to the injured Soldier of Operation Hadin Kai.

Governor Zulum said gains of the Military in the State could only be sustain when they collaborated with the State Government in working to get access to Farmers to their farm lands as well as resettlement of displaced persons to their ancestral homes.

Earlier in an address, Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai represented by his Deputy, Major General Koko Isoni noted that their Operations have contributed in the surrender of about one hundred thousand and fourty five (100,045) Insurgents to the Military authorities in the Northeast.
