Nigerians are yearning for good leadership, where credibility and capacity define the direction of voters, as the country seeks to overcome its numerous challenges. The desire for a leadership that can harness the nation’s potential and unite its people has never been more pressing.
In Bauchi State, Governor Bala Mohammed, also known as Kauran Bauchi, has been making waves with his impressive governance skills and commitment to development. His achievements in office have earned him recognition and accolades, including two national service awards from different administrations.
Under his leadership, Bauchi State has experienced unprecedented growth and development, driven by an inclusive and peaceful environment. The governor’s balanced political appointments have fostered trust and unity throughout the state, transcending religious and tribal biases. His commitment to delivering tangible results has improved the lives of his people, and his ability to work across party lines has demonstrated his focus on governance rather than politics.
One of Governor Mohammed’s notable achievements is his emphasis on infrastructure development, particularly in road construction. His administration has completed numerous road projects, including the 34km Bauchi-Kangri-Takai road, the 25km Bauchi-Gada Rabah road, 58km Burga-Duguri road and the 15km Gada Rabah-Baure road among others.
Moreso, the hitherto archaic Bauchi Government House has been reconstructed into a befitting edifice with square for events inside and all necessary facilities making one of the best in the country. Currently, two flyovers are under construction to expand the state capital, reduce traffic congestion and beautify the city.
These projects have not only improved connectivity but also boosted economic activities and reduced transportation costs for residents.
Additionally, Governor Mohammed has initiated several initiatives to improve healthcare, education, and agriculture in the state. His administration has constructed new hospitals and health centers, trained healthcare workers, and provided medical equipment to improve healthcare services. In education, he has built new schools, renovated existing ones, and introduced programs to enhance teacher training and student performance.
Governor Mohammed has also prioritized agriculture, recognizing its potential for economic growth and food security. His administration has implemented programs to support farmers, including the distribution of seeds, fertilizers, and equipment. The state has also seen significant improvements in irrigation systems, enabling farmers to cultivate crops year-round.

Having worked closely with former President Goodluck Jonathan, Governor Mohammed has built on the foundations laid by his predecessor and taken the state to new heights of development and progress.

Initially hesitant, the governor responded, “If Goodluck Jonathan, a Christian from Southern Nigeria, can work with me, a Muslim from the far north, why can’t I work with you, a Christian from Bauchi State?” True to his word, he has collaborated with me till this day, despite all odds.
This testament to his character is further evidenced by his balanced political appointments in Bauchi State, which transcend religious and tribal biases, fostering trust and unity throughout the state. This inclusive approach could be replicated nationwide.
Under the visionary leadership of Governor Mohammed, Bauchi State is experiencing unprecedented growth and development, driven by its inclusive and peaceful environment.
