Bauchi Gov’t trains 850 Teachers on digital literacy, upgrades Education Resource Centre.

In Bauchi State, Stakeholders in the Education sector have applauded vision of the present administration in transforming the Education Resource Center into a standardized world-class digital hub.
They made the commendation at the end of a 3-day Teachers training aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of teaching and learning in secondary schools organised by the State ministry of education.
A statement by the Information and Public Relations Officer of the ministry Jalaludeen Usman says the training, which spanned across various centers in the state, brought together 850 participants, including educators and education administrators, to focus on innovative practices in instructional delivery.
It states that the participants were trained on how to design engaging lesson plans, deliver effective instruction, and assess students’ learning outcomes.
According to the statement, the trainees were also exposed to a wide range of learning content, including instructional design principles, effective teaching strategies, assessment and evaluation techniques, record-keeping, production methods, and digital literacy.
It also featured group discussions and hands-on activities to ensure that the participants were exposed to not just theoretical but practical and engaging sessions.
The statement notes that Governor Bala Mohammed alongside the Commissioner of Education, SUBEB Executive Chairman among other notable figures were honoured for their contributions towards advancing the state’s education system.
