A bill to amend the local government establishment and administration has passed into law at the Bauchi State House of Assembly.

Similarlyy, a bill to repeal the Bauchi State College of Agriculture as well as a bill to establish Bauchi State Environmental Trust Fund also passed into law.
The Bills were moved by the majority leader Tijjani Aliyu Madangala during plenary presided over by the speaker Abubakar Sulaiman were sponsored by the state exercutive arm seeking to enhance the performance and administration of the sectors.
The house passed the bills following a clause-by-clause consideration of the reports of the House committees on Education, Environment and a joint committee on public account and local government affairs.
The house observes that the transfer of the Bauchi Collage of Agriculture to Bauchi State University Gadau would put an end to many unresolved issues facing the college as well as provide courses of instructions and related subject for diploma certificates.
The House also observed that the Environmental Trust Fund if established would attract support from national and international donors towards tackling Environmental issues across the state.
