About one thousand five hundred islamiyyya school pupils in Bauchi participated in entrance examination.

About one thousand five hundred islamiyya school pupils from about fifty schools in four local government areas in Bauchi state have participated in this year’s Unified Entrance Examination.

The Examination which is organized by Bauchi State Islamiyya Schools Teachers Association BASISTA successful candidates would gain admission into Higher Islamic Schools and Colleges.

Speaking to our staff reporter on the conduct of the exercise, the state Coordinator of the examination Alaramma Kabiru Shuaibu Ibrahim commended all stakeholders for championing the course of the the exams and Islamic education and prayed Allah to reward them abundantly.

Alaramma Shuaibu Ibrahim explained that examination was conducted across centres in Bauchi, Ganjuwa, Kirfi and Toro local government areas and urged other local councils to register next year.

He called on the state government and other wealthy Muslims to support the association’s efforts towards youth moral upbringing.

The Coordinator noted that for over a decade BASISTA has been conducting the exercise and called on the state government to take charge of the exercise considering its importance.

Alaramma Shuaibu Ibrahim advised other islamiyya schools across the state to unite and join the association to enable it achieve the set objectives.

Some of the candidates spoken to Halima Shaya’u and Rukayya Dahiru who commended their parents for supporting their education pledged to further their education to enable them contribute to the development of the state.
