Adam Idris Zakari Takes Over as Commandant NSCDC Kano Command.

The Nigeria Security And Civil Defence Corps, Kano command has a new State Commandant.
He is Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari fsi. He took over from Commandant Abu Abdu Tambuwal who has been redeployed to Rivers State Command.
Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari fsi was born in Kiri Kasamma, Jigawa state. He has been an experienced civil Defender having served in different state commands across the country and has held a number of positions/appointments in the service
In a brief ceremony, today Saturday 29th January, 2022, the mantle of leadership of the NSCDC, Kano command has been handed over to Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari fsi by the outgoing state Commandant, Comdant Abu Abdu Tambuwal.
While handing over the leadership of the Corps, Comdant Abu Tambuwal who has now been redeployed to Rivers State as the state commandant congratulated Commadant Zakari and enjoined all officers and men of the Command to give him maximum cooperation and supports so as to move the Corps forward.
In his address shortly after taking over the over Commandant Adamu Idris Zakari solicited support and cooperation of all the staff of the NSCDC, Kano stressing that with commitment and dedication to duty we’ll together take civil defence to greater heights and by the grace of God we’ll succeed.
The event was witnessed by the command’s 2ic, all the heads of Department and Unit as well as the area Commanders.
