Air Chief Calls for collaborative effort in the fight against insurgency.

The chief of Air staff Air Marshal Isiyaka Amao has called for more collaborative effort to end insurgency in the country.  Air Marshal Isiyaka Amao made the call when he led other senior officers of the air force on a courtesy call to Governor Bala Muhammad at Government House Bauchi.

The Air chief said security issue should not be left in the hands of military along hence the need for hands to be on deck to address the security challenges bedeviling the country.

According to him the military would not relent towards ending insurgency as directed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Air Marshal Amao said the visit was part of inspection tour to Air force command in Bauchi and a familiarization visit to Governor Bala Muhammad.

Responding Governor Bala Muhammad thanked the chief of air staff for the visit and reaffirmed his administration’s continued support to the military to succeed in carrying out their duties.  

Bala Muhammad represented by his Deputy Baba Tela appreciated the role play by the Nigeria Air force in tackling insecurity and used the medium to congratulate the new chief of air staff over his appointment.
