APC conduct hitch free Congress in Borno.

The delegates returned the thirty six state executives through voice affirmation at Sports Centre Maiduguri. 

Chairman 2021 Bormo state Electoral Committee Alhaji Uba Maigari said APC in the state has presented a united front as such there was no need to conducted any election.

According to him, Article 20 sub 1a of the APC constitution provided for either election or affirmation into any elective position.

Alhaji Maigari who was also the former Deputy Governor of Taraba state then declared the Congress concluded. 

Borno state Governor Babagana Zulum remarked that the party will be stronger more than ever before, calling on delegates and other party members to be united and move APC forward. 

He commended the Planning Committee led by the Deputy Governor Alhaji Umar Kadafur for organising a hitch free Congress. 

Speaker of the State Assembly Honourable Abdulkarim Lawan then moved the motion for adoption of the new exco and was seconded by the Deputy Speaker Honourable Abdullahi Askira.

In his acceptance speech, the APC chairman Honourable Ali Dalori thanked the delegates for re-electing him and other executives promising to justify the confidence reposed in them.

Those elected include Honourable Ali Dalori as Chairman, Bello Ayuba Secretary, Makinta Zarami publicity secretary among others.
