APC Guber Candidate Advised Bauchi People Not To Be Distracted

The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC in Bauchi State, Sadique Abubakar has urged people of the state not to be distracted by what he described as fictitious and divisive utterances of the rulling People’s Democratic Party, PDP.

While addressing journalists during a news conference at his residence Sadique Abubakar described as unfortunate, the present administration in the state that is entrusted to protect lives and property of the citizens was fermenting trouble on same.

He alleged that the political thugs hired to attack the APC supporters in Duguri town of Alkaleri local government area of the state was a deliberate attempt to undermine his popularity and acceptance, stressing that no amount of intimidation could stop him from exercising his constitutional rights of movement in any part of the country.

Sadique Abubakar said upon all the places he and his supporters visited across the state, his convoy was not attacked except in Akuyam and Duguri.

The APC gubernatorial candidate who advised the PDP to refrain from the divisive techniques employed and focus on real issues affecting the governed as well as persuade them as to why they should vote for the party in the next Saturday’s election.

Sadique Abubakar also challenged the state government to explain to the people why salaries of most civil servants, pensions and gratuity of retirees were not paid as well as chairs and other instructional materials were not provided in primary schools.

The APC Governorship candidate said these were the real issues that people of the state want to hear from the government and not divisive or fictitious claims labeled against the APC.

He called on people of the state not to loose focus in their quest to vote for a credible candidate and bring about the change they desire.
