APC Stalwart Laments Bauchi Growth, Development

An All Progressives Congress, APC stalwart in Bauchi Senator Salisu Matori has expressed concern over the political development in the state, describing it as unfortunate.
The state has all the potentials needed for growth and political viability in the country, however its level of development is still rated low by many.
Senator Matori who gave the indication in an exclusive interview with Radio Nigeria in Bauchi, lamented that the foundation laid by its founding fathers has been relegated to the background.
Matori said although the state has witnessed military and democratic regimes and the steps initially taken for its growth and development were not strictly followed, making particular reference to the state’s deteriorating condition of education.
He said it was disheartening that the foundation laid for the state’s growth and development by the Tatari Ali and Adamu Tafawa Balewa’s government was not followed by successive administrations for one reason or the other.
Senator Salisu Matori who is also the Dan Masanin Bauchi said no society would develop beyond its level of education, and expressed displeasure over the deteriorating state of education.
According to him, the state and its people have all the potentials to grow beyond what is currently obtained.
The Senator Matori called on people of the state to come out en- masse and peacefully vote for candidates of the APC particularly that of Governorship retired Air Marshall Sadique Abubakar.
