About one hundred and fifty staff of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa university teaching hospital Bauchi are undergoing computer training on advanced Digital appreciation programme in an effort to actualize e-health programme in the Hospital

Declaring the five day training open the chief medical director ATBUTH BAUCHI Dr jibrin yusuf Bara Said the hospital has selected Trauma center,Amenity and NHIS as pilot clinics for the programne

Dr jibrin who was represented by the chairman medical advisory committee of the hospital Dr Abubakar Kadas explained that the participants are being trained on advanced Digital appreciation programme for tertiary institutions ADAPTI which is key in assisting the hospital personel to implement the e-health programme

“The whole world is now going digital not only in the other sectors but in health is very important the issue of e-health is something that has been at the back of our minds we re starting in our own way subsequently the hospital would fully go e-health”

He said the training is apt considering the importance of information and communication technology ICT in the health sector

The chief medical director enjoined the participants to abide by all rules and regulations guiding the training to achieve the desired goals.
