ATBUTH: College of Nursing Sciences Matriculate 340 Students For 2021/2022 Academic Session

The College of Nursing Sciences of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, ATBUTH Bauchi has matriculated three hundred and forty students into various courses for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The programmes are Basic Midwifery, Community Midwifery, Post Basic Midwifery and Post Basic Nursing as well as Peri-oparative Nursing.

Addressing the matriculants, the Provost of the college Malam Adamu Ahmadu urged them to be dedicated in their studies, exhibit high sense of responsibility and shun any form of malpractice.

He also called on parents of the matriculants to assist the college in putting their children and wards on the right track to avoid expulsion.

The Chief Medical Director ATBUTH Bauchi, Dr. Jibirin Yusuf Bara assured to continue to provide the college with the needed support aimed at ensuring conducive learning environment for the students to excel in their academic pursuit.

Represented by the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee of the hospital, Dr. Sa’idu Abubakar Kadas, the CMD said the college had secured approval to run three new Post Basic programmes to include, Renal Nursing, Nephrology Nursing and Ophthalmic Nursing.

He called on people of the state to avail themselves of the opportunity.

The matriculants were administered oath of allegiance by the Hospital’s Head of Legal Department, Khaleel Abdullahi Ahmad.
