Bauchi State Road Traffic Agency BAROTA is to commence a special night operation.
In a statement by the Public Relation Officer of the Agency Comrade Dahiru Adamu says the new policy will address some security challenges.
According to the statement the agency received complaint from members of the public that some Tricycle operators threaten passengers thereby stealing their property.
It directs all tricycle riders to put inner lights for clear visibility and identification at night.
The statement also warns that any government official found using the agency’s name for his personal interest will face the wrath of the law.
It further highlights some of the work of the agency to include banning of illegal motor park, operation of Okada riders as well as anything that will bring problem to the transport sector in the state.
