Bauchi Govt to Prosecute Saboteurs of Nominal Roll

Bauchi State Government is to prosecute any person found sabotaging its Salaries Nominal Roll for civil servants in the state.

The State Governor Bala Muhammad sounded the warning while declaring open a 2-day workshop on Salary Administration organised for Commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries and Heads of MDAs among other top government officials in Bauchi.

Bala Muhammad represented by his Deputy Muhammad Auwal Jatau said his administration would not hesitate to deal with salary saboteurs and reaffirmed commitment to the welfare of workers in the state.

Also Speaking, the Secretary to the State Government Ibrahim Kashim urged the participants to contribute their quota towards addressing fraudulent activities in the norminal roll system.

On his part, the State Head of Service Yahuza Adamu said the aim of organising the workshop was to acquaint the participants with knowledge on salary administration to ensure transparency in government payroll across all ministries, departments and agencies.

Yahuza Adamu expressed gratitude to the present administration for its concern to the plight of workers.

He explained that Commissioners are now responsible for the supervision of workers norminal roll in their respective MDAs.
