Bauchi State House of Assembly has urged the government to commence a comprehensive rehabilitation of all vandalized electric equipment at various locations of Tafawa Balewa Local government area.
This is contained in a motion moved by a member representing Lere Bula constituency Abdulrashid Adamu Mu’azu during plenary presided over by the deputy speaker Jamilu Umaru Dahiru.

The lawmaker expressed worried that lack of power supply in the areas affected the economic activities of people which earned them abundant revenue hence the need for government to come to their aid in that direction.
He urged the House to call the attention of Ministries for rural development and Special Duties to collaborate with the ministry of Mines and Power to ensure inclusion of the projects in the Bauchi State twenty twenty four Annual Budget Estimates.
Meanwhile, the house also urged government as a matter of urgency to rehabilitate a recent collapsed culvert in Gangai village of Madara Chinade constituency as it links people in the area to various communities as well as to salvage their lives.
