Bauchi LGAs Developed New Budget Manual

Participants from the four local govemment areas in Bauchi State supported on Adaptation of the State Budget Manual, have expressed determination to implement the Budget Manual developed during the four-day meeting
They made the pledge at the end of the workshop, organized by the State Government and the State Field Office of the USAID State Accountability, Transparency and Effectiveness (State2State) Activity.
In suparate responses, the Director
Budget and Planning, Katagum LGA Yusuf Hassan and Director of Finance Bauchi LGA, Ibrahim Magaji Jama’are said they have leaned a lot during the four-day workshop and pledged to endure inclusiveness in their local governments’ budget process and preparation.
Another respondent, the Director Budget and Planning Misau local govemment area Alhaji Musa Idris Dambam said the adaptation of the State Budget Manual has widen their horizon in the purview of inclusive Budget process and preparation as well as assigning responsibility to appropriate officers with a view to have impressive results
On his part, the Director of Finance in Alkaleri local government area, Alhaji Bello Mohammed commended the state Field Office of State 2State Activity, and pledged to step down the knowledge acquired to his colleagues for optimum service delivery.
The participants expressed optimism that all the twenty local government areas would in the future come up with independent budgets that would be in tandem with peculiar needs of people in the respective areas.
