Bauchi Police Arrests 21 Year Old Suspected Murderer

Bauchi State Command of the Nigerian Police Force, NPF has apprehended a twenty one year old Maimunatu Sulaiman of Kofar Dumi area in Bauchi metropolis for allegedly stabbing her husband to death.
This is contained in a statement by the Acting Public Relations Officer of the Command, ASP Aminu Gimba Ahmed and made available to journalists in Bauchi.
The Statement says police detectives led by the township Divisional Police Officer rushed to the scene of the incidence after receiving information and took both the victim and the suspect to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
It states that the report obtained from medical doctors of the hospital confirmed that the victim died as a result of an injury sustained on his chest, while the suspect sustained minor bruises on her stomach.
The Statement explains that the suspect confessed that she has committed the crime during interrogation by the police.
Meanwhile the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police Auwal Musa Muhammad has directed the case to be transferred Criminal Investigation Department, CID for further scrutiny to unravel the circumstances of the victim death.
The statement says the suspect would be charged to court after the completion of police investigation.
