Bauchi State Government to improve IGRs.

Bauchi State
Government is to mappe out strategies aim at improving internally generating Revenue IGR across the state.

The new Commissioner for Finance Usman Abdulkadir Modibbo stated this while speaking while assuming office as finance Commisioner.

Usman Abdulkadir Modibbo noted that improving the internally generating rvenue would allow the state government to execute more development projects to the people hence the need for improved revenue generation.
While assuring prudent management of government resources.

the commissioning urged the menegement and staff of his ministry to be honest and hardworking while discharging their duties to achieve the target.

Modibbo Abdulkadir said aside improving revenue base of the state,the ministry will renew partnership with stakeholders aimed at accessing more income and interventions

“Once again,i want to thank our Governor,Senator Bala Muhammad my boss for the opportunity and assured him of my total loyalty and commitment towards the success of his administration

I seek for prayers, support and cooperation of stakeholders to enable me carry out my duty effectively

The Commissioner promise to operate an open door policy to all

Earlier,the acting permanent secretary in the ministry,Husaini Rilwanu while welcoming the Commissioner assured of management and staff for effective service delivery

Husain Rilwanu said the ministry has a mandate to generate all revenue from various sources and disbursing them for developmental projects and service delivery as approved by the state executive council

In a remark Chairman Jamaare Local government ,Samaila Yusuf who spoke on behalf of Jamaare community express gratitude to governor Bala Muhammad for finding modibbo worthy to be appointed as commissioner for finance.
