Bauchi State Government to Support Traders with 500 Million Naira Loan.

Bauchi State Government says the sum of five hundred million naira subsidized loan will be made available for traders and artisans across the state to improve their businesses.
The State Governor Bala Mohammed made this known in continuation of disbursement of the empowerment materials at Ganjuwa and Darazo Local Government areas.
Governor Bala Mohammed noted that the state government is discussing with banks and others financial institutions with a view to secure the loan for onward disbursement to the proposed beneficiaries.
He explained that the distribution of the empowerment materials under the State Government Economic Empowerment Programme was to boost the economic status of especially Vulnerables and Low Income Earners
The Governor expressed determination to accord the desired support to the State Ministry for Poverty Alleviation, Small and Medium Enterprises to provide solace to the people.
Some of the beneficiaries who commended Governor for the initiative maintained that the move would go along way in improving their lives.
Items distributed include buses, motorcycles, grinding machines, pop corn making machines and starter packs.
