Bauchi State Governor earmarks five hundred million naira for rebuilding of his alma mater.

Bauchi State government says five hundred million naira has been earmarked for the construction of Old Government Secondary School GSS Bauchi.
Governor Bala Muhammad stated this at the fiftieth and fourtiefth joint anniversary public lecture of the 1970 and 1980 sets of Garu Old Boys Association held in Bauchi.
Represented by Architect Baba Mohammad Dadi, the governor who said a twenty hectares of land has been allocated for the project, disclosed that professionals have since completed preliminary Design for the construction.
While appreciating the two sets for organising the lecture, Bala Muhammad charged the association to establish a fund towards assisting members who are in need.
In separate remarks the Chairman steering committee Alhaji Mohammad Uba kari and Chairman of the occasion Alhaji Gambo Magaji who described the event as unique also commended Governor Bala Muhammad’s decision to rebuild the school.
High point of the occasion was the presentation of merit awards to Governor Bala Mohammad, Air Vice Marshall Sadiq Abubakar and some former Teachers.
