Bauchi State Gov’t Lauds Corps Members For Community Development Projects.

Bauchi State Government has applauded the Corps Members serving in the state for prioritizing Community Development Programmes towards improving the well-being of their Host Communities.
It also encouraged them to initiate small scale businesses in line with the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Training undergone in the course of the National Assignment to avoid relying on the white Collar Jobs.

The State Governor Bala Mohammed gave the indication at the Passing-out Ceremony of the 2021 Batch A stream 1 Corps Members held at IBB Square Bauchi.
Bala Mohammed acknowledged that despite the country’s current economic realities, the youths have made laudable contributions in areas Education, Agriculture and Healthcare Services to the rural dwellers.
While congratulating the outgoing Corps Members for the successful completion of the one year mandatory service, the Governor advised them to be good Ambassadors of the scheme in their respective states.
In a remark, the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Alhaji Adamu Manu Soro said the ministry would sustain its collaboration with the State NYSC Office to ensure adequate Security and welfare of the Corps Members.
Adamu Manu commended the state Governor for ensuring enabling environment for the NYSC officials and the corps members to deligently discharge their responsibilities.
The State Coordinator ot the NYSC, Namadi Hamisu Abubakar noted that reports from the corps members’ employers across the state indicates that the youth have conducted themselves and excelled in their respective assignments.
