Bauchi State Gov’t. Partners FPTB in Addressing Ghost Workers Problem.

Bauchi State Government has challenged the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi to develop a software that will provide solution to the Ghost Workers Syndrome in the State.
It also wants the Institution to come up with a technical initiatives to enhance entrepreneurship development and add value in the Human Hapital Development.
The State Governor Bala Mohammed made the call while granting audience to management of the polytechnic at Government House.
Bala Mohammed said if the polytechnic is capable for the task, the state government would leverage on the technology through establishment of a mutual working relationship to address the persistent challenges and improve productivity.
While appreciating the performance of the polytechnic in areas research and provision of quality education the Governor promised to construct three killometres access roads in the institution and provide the required Security in the polytechnic community as the state government’s contributions.
Earlier, Rector of the polytechnic Architect Sunusi Waziri Gumau assured that the school has the capacity to collaborate with the state government in managing a number of projects as well as training and promotion of Civil Servants among others
Architect Waziri Gumau who appreciated the Governor’s promise to support the institution, noted that since it establishment in the last forty five years the school has not benefit from any form of intervention by the state government.
In a related development, Governor Bala Mohammed has met with Zonal Office of the National Drugs Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA where he charged them to identify and profile names of drugs dealers to allow government takes effective measures.
He also assured of his administration readiness towards addressing menace of drugs and substance abuse for the attainment of a better society.
