Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency has organised a Dinner in honour of the outgone State Coordinator of World Health Organisation (WHO) Dr. Adamu Ibrahim Ningi who served in the state from 2013 to 2022 and now transferred to Sokoto State.
The Executive Chairman of the Agency, Dr. Rilwanu Mohammed who said Dr. Ningi had discharged of his responsibilities diligently, described him as dedicated, committed, patient and humble.
Dr. Mohammed appreciated the WHO for the numerous contributions rendered in the improvement of healthcare in the state especially in the areas of immunization, surveillance and epidemic control.
Responding, the outgone State Coordinator, Dr. Adamu Ningi expressed appreciation to all stakeholders who grace the occasion, saying that he was surprised hearing some comments about himself without knowing that he had done all that were being said.
Dr. Ningi who urged staff of the WHO and other stakeholders in the state to accord the new State Coordinator all the necessary support and cooperation for him to succeed, thanked the Agency for finding him worthy to be honoured, attributed the successes recorded during his stewardship to the will of Almighty Allah.
The dinner which attracted attendance of all stakeholders in the state health sector was culminated with presentation of awards and gifts from the State Task Force on Primary Healthcare, Epidemiology Department of the Agency, Local Government Committees and teams among others.
