Nigerians have been called to be more patriotic in their daily activities by considering Nigeria first before any other interest.
The Emir of Fika and Chairman Yobe State Council of Traditional Rulers Dr Muhammad Ibn Abali Muhammad Idrissa, made the call Monday, in an address at the opening ceremony of the 2021 Kaltungo Festival in Kaltungo, Gombe State.
The Royal Father explained that the 2023 elections are fast approaching, therefore appealed to Nigerians to live in peace with one another and avoid any action that will lead to violence.
He further commends the Emir of Kaltungo, Engineer Saleh Mohammed for organizing the annual programme.
“This will go a long way in showcasing various norms and cultures for the upcoming generations to know their traditional values and well as bring people together”.
The traditional ruler used the forum to pray for Nigeria against all forms of insecurity.
