Covid-19 Survival Fund Bauchi Applicants Advise to Key into the Scheme.

Applicants of the federal government Covid 19 Survival fund initiative in Bauchi state have been requested to ensure provision of the required details for the application to guarantee their enrolment into the scheme.

They have also been called to be mindful of fraudters that may take the advantage of the registration exercise.

The Director General of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency Dr. Umaru Radda gave the indications in Bauchi during an interactive session with leaders of various artisans and trades unions on how to benefit from the scheme as associations and union members

The Director General who was represented by the Northeast Zonal Coordinator of the Agency Isah Mahmud noted that the scheme was aimed at assisting over nine thousand beneficiaries in each of the thirty six states of of the federation and FCT.

The director General who said president Muhammadu Buhari has approved seventy five Billion naira for onward disbursement of targeted beneficiaries across the country advised applicants from the state to take advantage of the scheme.

He appealed to leaders of the associations to ensure transparency in selecting beneficiaries under them noting that the application process is entirely free.

One of the participants Bello Inuwa Galoji who is the state chairman of Dry Season Farmers Association called for an increase in the amount budgeted for the initiative to enable them meet with current business challenges.

Also, the state Chairperson of Fifty Million Women Speak Project Lami Magaji said the move would go along way in supporting women to key into useful ventures.

Each of the selected beneficiaries is to receive the sum of thirty thousand naira under the programme.
