District Head of Fagge honors Nigeria’s Ambassador to Malaysia with Peace Ambassador Emeritus.

Leaders at all levels of governance have been advised to be more proactive, innovative, accountable and commitment towards summounting new emerging threats to national growth and development.
The District Head of Fagge under Kano Emirate council Alhaji Mahmoud Ado Bayero gave the advice while presenting an award of Excellence by the National Coalition Against Insecurity NACAI to Nigeria’s Ambassador to Malaysia and Brunei Dr Hajara Ibrahim Salim at his palace in Kano.
Alhaji Mahmoud Bayero who is also the Tafidan Kano said Dr Hajara Salim is a detribalised Nigerian who served diligently at different capacities in service to the nation.
The District Head and Chairman of the Coalition described Ambassador Salim as an embodiment of peace and social cohesion, whose character and personality should be a thing to emulate by all.
He used the forum to congratulate the ambassador on her appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari and wished her a successful tenure.
Receiving the award, Dr Hajara Salim thanked the organisation for the honor done her and expressed commitment in supporting organisations with the aim of fostering peace and unity among people.
Represented by her Special Assistant Ishaq Gambo Magaji, the Ambassador promised to sell Nigeria’s huge manpower potential during her tenure as ambassador, thereby attracting huge investments for the country.
Meanwhile, NACAI confered on the Ambassador the title of International Matron of the organisation as well as Peace Ambassador Emeritus for her continued support to peace-based CSOs and NGOs.
