E-NAIRA Degital Currency: CBN takes sensitization campaign to Fed Poly Community.

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has embarked on sensitisation campaign to Federal Polytechnic Bauchi community on the need to embrace the E- Naira Cashless Policy introduced to ease financial transactions.
Speaking to newsmen shortly after a courtesy visit to the management of the institution, the CBN Bauchi Branch Controller Alhaji Haladu Idris Andaza encouraged them to apply the policy in all its financial transactions such as school registration among others.
Haladu Andaza said the aim of the visit was to inform the Polytechnic community about the advantages of the e-Naira Cashless policy for easy transaction.

While assuring that with the new policy, customers money is safe with banks, the Branch Controller charged all and sundry to embrace all initiatives introduced by the apex Bank to make banking easy and safe.
Responding, the Rector Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Alhaji Sani Usman commended the Apex Bank for introducing the new policy which is aimed at easing transaction without hitches.
Alhaji Sani Usman encouraged the Central Bank of Nigeria to extend the sensitization campaign to other institutions of learning for the benefit of students, academic and non academic staff as well as surrounding communities.
The Rector appreciated the CBN management for the visit and promised to sensitise the polytechnic community to embrace the e-Naira Cashless policy.
