Eid-el Fitr: Bauchi State Gov. Felicitates with Muslims, Calls for Tolerance, God-fearing.

Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed says Ramadan lessons should provide spiritual guidance for Muslim Faithfuls to imbibe the habit of tolerance and God-fearing towards the attainment of better society.

He stated this after observing the Eid Prayer at Bauchi Eid Ground alongside Emir of Bauchi Alh. Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu and Members of the State Executive Council.

Our Correspondent Isiyaka Ismail Wunti reports that the two Raka’at Prayer was led by Chief Imam of Bauchi Imam Bala Baban Inna.

Addressing journalists after the prayer Governor Bala Mohammed said the country can restore it lost glory when the citizens apply the teachings of religion towards solving personal communal and national problems.

Bala Mohammed who assured his administration’s commitment for sustenance of peaceful coexistence and economic development, appealed for support and cooperation for the overall development of the state and the country as a whole.

While congratulating the Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el Fitr and the successful completion of Ramadan, the Governor added that extra efforts in the side of Allah will attract divine intervention.

In his sermon, the Chief Imam of Bauchi, Bala Baban Inna reminded both the leaders and followers of their responsibilities noting that anyone will judged by his actions on the day of judgement.

Imam Baban Inna used the opportunity to call on politicians and other political actors to provide peaceful atmosphere for the conduct of the 2023 General Elections.
