Embrace the Culture of National Unity – DG NYSC Charges Corp members.

The Director General of the National youth Service Corp  Brig.-Gen. Shuaibu Ibrahim,has charged Corps members to embrace national unity and integration.

Brig General Shuaibu ibrahim gave the charge on during the swearing in ceremony of Batch “B” Stream 2 Corps members held  at  NYSC Orientation Camp, Kusalla , Karaye Local Government Area, Kano State.

The Director General who was Was Represented by the state coordinator in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad said the aim of the Orientation training was to Inculcate decipline, patriotism and dedication in the minds of feature leaders geared towards having a greater Nation.

He said  the corps members were drawned and  assembled from different and diverse ethnic , religious and socioeconomic backgrounds to enable them Accumulate different ideologies with the aim Uniting the Nation.

“I encourage you to ensure healthy interactions, exchange ideas that will broaden your understanding of the country and build lasting friendships.

“The oath of allegiance you have just taken today is solemn.

I explore you to always find time to mediate over its spirit and letters, and be guided by same throughout your service year,” he advised.

The Director General  advised the Corp to familiarize themselves with the content of both the NYSC Act and the NYSC Bye-Laws,and participate fully in all the camp Activities,geared towards Achieving the set objectives.

In a remark the Nysc Coordinator in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad who was Represented by the Camp Director Mr Aliyu Ahmed said a total of 1354 Corp members were registered in the camp.

He said the training would prepare and equipped the Corp members physical and mentally for their unique roles during the service year.

Aliyu noted that the Kano camp has adhered strictly to the Covid 19 protocols aimed at curtailing the spread of the Virus.

The oath of Allegiance was Administered by Majistrate Bashir Yusif.
