Fed Poly’ Bauchi takes step to improve Electricity supply, Internet Service for improved productivity.

The Federal Polytechnic Bauchi days it has entered into contract agreement with two companies for the provision of constant power supply and reliable internet service within the institution.

The Rector of the Polytechnic Architect Sanusi Waziri Gumau disclosed this shortly after the Matriculation of Students for the 2021/2022academic session under its Degree affiliation and linkages program with the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University held in Bauchi.

Architect Sanusi Gumau said agreements which is to be implemented in few months time, would help summount most of the challenges faced in the area of research and practicals and also improve academic activities to achieve excellence.

He said the National Universities Commission NUC has recently accredited the nine affiliate degree programs being run at the institution, hence the need for the new intakes to justify the confidence reposed in them by being disciplined and focused.

Earlier, the Vice Chancellor Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University ATBU Bauchi Professor Muhammadu Ahmad Abdulazeez represented by the Chairman Central Screening Committee Professor Mansur Malumfashi said only one out of five applicants secure admission in Nigeria, hence the need for the matriculants to be up and doing both in character and learning.

Professor Muhammadu Abdulazeez who said the university frowns at all acts of social vices, urged them to report any suspicious activities so as to nip all security threats in the bud.

Performing the administering of matriculation oath, the Registrar ATBU Bauchi Dr Ahmad Garba Hassan charged the new intakes to abide by all the rules and regulations of the institution to guarantee their stay.
