The Director General of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN Dr Mansur Liman has tasked staff of the North East Zonal Station and Globe FM Bauchi to ensure professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
He made the call in Bauchi while addressing the staff during a visit to the Zonal and Globe FM stations.
Dr Liman said professionalism should be the watchword of every journalist, hence the need to ensure same in all their dealings.
The Director General who expressed satisfaction that the Zonal and FM stations are in good shape, called on the leadership and their subordinates to maintain the momentum.
Dr Liman commended the Nort East Zonal Station for erecting a new building that if completed would provide office accommodation to the Zonal Director, his staff and Studios for optimum service delivery.
He appreciates Bauchi State government for the support it was rendering to Radio Nigeria and solicited for more in that direction.
In a remark, the General Jewel FM Gombe, Malam Ubale Danbatta solicited for the Director General’s support to periodically organize training and retraining of staff of the North East Zone for efficient service delivery.
The FRCN Director General who earlier chaired the Central Management Committee, CMC meeting was accompanied by Directors from the Headquarters, Abuja and Lagos Operations, Zonal Directors as well as General Managers of Radio Nigeria FM Stations.
