Gashua Modern Market Stores will be directly allocates to traders, Governor Buni Assures.

His Excellency, the Yobe state Governor Hon Mai Mala Buni, has expressed satisfaction with the quality and pace of work at the Gashua Modern Market.
He stated this in Gashua today while inspecting the progress of work at the market, which is nearing completion.
The Governor said the project would soon be commissioned assuring that the stalls and stores would be allocated directly to traders.
“There would be no middle men between government and the traders in the allocation of the stores” he further assured.
Governor Buni however urged the beneficiaries to cultivate the culture of maintenence and safety measures.
The state commissioner for Commerce and Tourism, Alh. Barma Shettima, while conducting the Governor around the Market, said the Gashua Modern Market would be handed over to the government in the next few weeks.
“The contractors are now on finishing touches, they have done a good job and there is value for money in this project,” he said.
