Globe FM Bauchi gets 10kw Digital Transmitter.

As part of effort to enhance operations of Zonal and FM Stations across the country, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN has installed and inaugurated a 10KW Digital Transmitter to Globe FM Bauchi.

Inaugurating the Transmitter, the Director General Dr. Mansur Liman charged the Management of Globe FM Bauchi to utilize the resources provided for them.

Dr. Mansur Liman represented by the Director Finance and Accounts Mr. Micheal Oluwale who thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for supporting FRCN to compete favourably with its counterparts across the globe charged management of the station to live up to their responsibilities in enhancing their operations.

Also speaking, the FRCN Zonal Director North East Zone Alhaji Yahya Abdullahi Maikano commended the Director General for finding the station worthy for the gesture to enhance its operation, urged him to maintain the tempo.

In a remark, the Director Engineering Services Engineer Sanda Askira who said so far 12 FM Stations across the country have acquired 10kw transmitters, charged the Management to ensure adequate maintenance of the transmitter as it will last for more than 25 years.

Engineer Sanda Askira further advised engineers to be vigilant at all times in providing maximum attention to all facilities provided for them to last long.

The 10kw transmitter is to cover five States to include Yobe, Kano, Gombe, Plateau and part of Kaduna and beyond.

The ceremony has in attendance members of the Management, Staff of North East Zone and Globe FM Bauchi as well as IT Students.
