Globe FM Bauchi Launches 10 killowatt Digital Transmitter.

The Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN has installed a ten KilloWatt Digital transmitter in Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi.
This is part of the ongoing efforts towards enhancing the quality of transmission in all zonal and FM stations across the the country.



Inaugurating the brand new transmitter, the Acting Director General of the FRCN Mikel Oluwale said, similar transmitters were also installed in twelve other stations across the zones while that of Enugu, Oyu, Plateau and Awka will be ready before the end of this month.
According to Mr. Mikel Oluwale, the Director General of the Corporation Dr. Mansur Liman and the management of the the FRCN are determined to boost the capacity of all the stations for optimal performance.
Also speaking, the Director Engineering Services of the FRCN Headquarters Malam Sanda Askira explained that with the development, the Globe FM’s coverage will reach advanced areas with quality output and uninterrupted transmission.
In their remarks, the FRCN Zonal Director, Northeast Zone Yahaya Abdullahi Maikano and the General Manager of the Station Malam Aminu Abdullahi Gombi Commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Director General for approving the procurement of the facilities.
They however assured of proper maintenance of state of the art transmitter adding that arrangements will be made towards ensuring training of the engineering staff for effective service delivery
