The General Managers of all media outfits in Yobe, under the umbrella of Media executive has held it’s bimonthly meeting at the Sunshine FM Potiskum.

The umbrella which was instituted more than five years ago aimed at promoting government policies and programmes and to track budget performance in all the three tiers in the state.

The Chairman of the platform and General Manager of NTA Damaturu Mallam Aliyu…..said the purpose of the meeting is to bridge the gap between the state and the media organisations in Yobe.

Highlights of the meeting was to draw the attention of the government among other things to provide an enabling environment to function effectively.

Training of the staff of both state, federal and private media.

The media executives is working incollaboration with PAL an NGO.
