Ahead of the National Convention of the All Progressives Congress APC, slated for Saturday, Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has inaugurated the state’s executives of the party.
Inaugurating the party officials, the Governor charged them to be proactive and work towards the victory of the party in 2023.
Represented by Deputy Governor Manasah Daniel Jatau, governor Inuwa tasked the Party Executives to project the good image of the APC-led administration by informing the citizens on the projects executed by the state government to elicit support for the party.
Governor Inuwa also challenged the party not to allow only overnment officials to tackle members of the opposition but to counter their criticisms with superior arguments and facts.
Earlier, the State Party Chairman, Nitee Amangal, tasked the newly sworn-in APC state executives to comply with instructions from the state government in the forthcoming national convention towards the unity and success of the party at all levels.
Speaking on behalf of the newly sworn executives, the State Women Leader of the party, Lumbi Abubakar promised to mobilize women in the state to register as APC members and also get voters’ cards from the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
The newly sworn-in executives include Deputy State Party Chairman, Baba Abuja, Party State Secretary Abubakar Sadiq Goro,
Organizing Secretary Abdullahi Sanusi Ataka and Party Youth Leader Muhammad Kawu Masu,
as well as Women Leader Lumbi Abubakar amongst others.
