Gombe governor urges corp members to be self- reliant.

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe state has urged the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members to key into the policies and programs of the federal government geared towards youth empowerment, self-employment, and economic development.
The Governor made the call at the passing-out ceremony of the Batch-A- stream-1-Corp Members deployed to Gombe state.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya encouraged them to be committed and determined to discover the vast opportunities that abound in the nation by being self-employed and contributing their quoter towards national development.
The Governor commended the selfless effort of Corp Members in making the communities better, particularly in strengthening the health initiatives for rural dwellers programs across the state by providing free medical interventions.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya urged them to remain good ambassadors of the scheme and responsible role models to other youths.
While congratulating them on the completion of the service year, the Governor, appreciated the immense contribution of Corp Members towards the developmental process in the state.
Earlier, the NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs. Adah Emony, explained that the event marked the passing-out ceremony of four hundred and twenty-two Batch-A- stream-one Corp Members deployed to Gombe state.
Mrs. Adah Emony urged the Corp Members to remain steadfast in their commitment towards the task of nation-building in the realization of sustainable development at all levels.
