Gombe State Government Set To Release N38 Billion For Road Contact

Gombe State Executive Council has approved the sum of thirty Eight Billion Naira for the construction of Seventeen roads and Bridges across the state.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the State Executive Council Meeting, presided over by Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, at the Government house, the State Commissioner for Information and Culture, Meshack Audu Lauco, said the council has approved the sum of Six point Four Billion Naira for the construction of 10.5 KM road network in Tunfure North and South, and awarded the 11.5KM Kwadon-Kunji-Jada-Goni Bukar-Laliko to Sabon Gari at the cost of Six point Five Billion Naira.
The council equally approved the sum of Three points Eight Billion Naira, for the construction of 7KM township road in Billiri and Three Hundred and Nineteen Thousand, Seven Hundred and Twenty Five Naira for spur road to Kanuwal in Yamaltu Deba.
The Commissioner also said the council has approved the contract for the construction of Four span Bridges at Hayin-Misau at the cost of Two points Five Billion Naira and awarded 6KM Kaltungo township road at the cost of two point Nine Billion Naira as well as construction of access road to Government Mega College Kaltungo, at the cost of Seven Hundred and Eighteen Million, Eight Hundred and Nineteen Million Naira, and 1.55KM road network in General Hospital Bajoga at the cost of Nine point Six Million Naira.
According to him, the council as well approved the sum of Two point Two Billion Naira for the construction of 4.7KM township road in Kumo and awarded the 4.03KM Dumbu-Tsando road at the cost of Two points Four Billion Naira and the construction of 1.8KM access road to Government Mega College Dadin Kowa at the cost of One point Three Billion Naira as well as construction of 1.5KM access road to Government Mega College Dukku at the cost of Seven Hundred and Ninety Njne Million naira.
Others are 4.55kM Jalingo township road in Funakaye which was awarded at the cost of Two points One Billion Naira and 2.7KM Bajoga township road at the cost of One point Four billion Naira.
Meshack Audu Lauco, further explained that, the council equally approved the sum of Two point Four Billion Naira for the construction of Three span Bridges at Titi to Stangayari and the construction of network road in Kaltungo General Hospital at the cost of Five Hundred and Seventy Seven Million, One Hundred and Seventy Thousand Million Naira as well as the construction of road network at General Hospital Kumo which is the value at Six Hundred Million, Nine Hundred and Ninety Thousand.
