Good Enviromental Sanitation, a way out of Communicable diseases – DG NYSC.

Maintaining Good Enviromental Sanitation has been Described as key Factor of promoting Good Health Among the Citizenry.
The Director General of the National youth Corp Brigedia General Ibrahim Stated this during the Flagg off of the NYSC National Enviromental Sanitation Exercise Held in Kano.
Brigedia General Ibrahim, represented by the NYSC Coordinator in Kano Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad said Environmental.
Sanitation was recognized Globally as one of the key requirements of preventing disease.
She said the Aim of the Campaign was to Enlightened the General populace, especially the rural Dwellers on the health risk of poor Hygein ,with particular focus on the prevention of Contamination of Water, food and the entire Environment.
“During the Nationwide medical Outreach conducted under the NYSC Health initiative for rural dwellers it was observed that most of the ailments diagnosed and treated were as a result of poor Hygein,hence efforts needed to be put in place in addressing the menace of poor Enviromental Sanitation”.
Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammad Maintained that NYSC will not relent in it’s efforts of offering health and other Services to the people .
She appreciated Kano state Government, traditional rulers , Community leaders and other Stakeholders for supporting NYSC initiatives .
The exercise which was carried out all over the federation themed “Clean Environment Good Hygiene- Panacea for Good Health and Long life ” was flagged off in Kano by a Sanitation Exercise at Fagge local Government Secretariat .
