Gov. Buni flagg off Constructions of 29-KM Gashua-Masaba, Karasuwa- Galu Road Projects

Yobe State Governor Hon. Mai Mala Buni has flagged off the construction of the 29-kilometer Gashua-Masaba and Karasuwa- Galu Asphalt Roads projects.
Speaking at the flagging off in Gashua, Governor Buni said the projects are in line with his administration’s commitment and drive to provide good road networks across the State.
He explained that the 25 kilometers Gashua-Masaba road linking Bade and Bursari local governments and the 4kilometre Karasuwa-Galu road linking Kasasuwa local government and Nguru-Gashua federal highway when completed is expected to support the growth of agricultural productivity and other socio-economic among the industrious people of the communities.
The Governor called on the contractors handling the projects to strictly abide by the contractual agreement signed with the State Government.
He, therefore, urges the communities to support the government and the contractors to successfully achieved its mandate.
The site’s engineers of the construction companies assured that the projects will be executed according to specific as signed in a contextual agreement.
Earlier in their separate remarks the Chairmen Bade and Karasuwa local governments areas Ibrahim Yurema and Khaleel Abba Umara commended Governor Buni’s administration for bringing government closer to people at the grassroots.
They also pledged their total support to the state government policies and programs that will improve the lives of the citizens.
