Gov. Buni urges new cabinet members to work as a team

The Governor Yobe of State Mai Mala Buni has urged the newly commissioners of the state to be dedicative, innovative and work as a team in order to repositioning the state to be the pride of the nation.
Mai Mala Buni state this while declaring Opened a three days retreat for his executive council, held in kano state.
He saida the retreat was organised to build the capacity of the newly executive members of his government on how to contribute meaningfully towards the development of the state.
“I therefore, expect this retreat to inculcate in the new Executive Council members financial discipline as required by the Law of the Country and the anticipation of our people on us to maximally deliver with full value of money expended on the conduct of any Government business”. “As public office holders, we should maintain observance of prudence, transparency, probity and accountability.
This is what gave the State recognition as the best performing State in the Northeast by the World Bank and overall first Position in Investment Project Financing Instrument among the 36 State of the Federation”.
Governor Mai Mala maintained that his Administration has achieved alot in his first tenure especially in terms of Education, water supply, security, commerce, infrastructural projects and empowering Youths and Women in the state.
He Appealed to the Commissioners to put what they learn into practice, geared towards achieving the stated goals.
Abdullahi Begu is the commissioner of information and culture while Dr. Mairo Ahmad Damshi is the commissioner of humanitarian and disester management, they commended the state government for organizing the retreat, and Promised to as a team to move the state forward.
