Governor Bala Mohammed Donates 50 Operational Vehicles to Security Agencies .

In an effort to enhance security operation in Bauchi state, the state government has donated fifty operational vehicles to various security agencies in the state.
The move was to support the ongoing effort of fishing out perpetrators of various forms of criminality in all the nooks and crannies of the state.
The vehicles were donated to divisional offices of Nigeria Police Force across the state, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense, Army, Federal Road Safety Corps, Immigration, volunteer security bodies as well as the State Road Traffic Management Agency, BAROTA.
Speaking at the Distribution in government house Bauchi, Governor Bala Mohammed said ensuring security of lives and properties remains the cardinal objective of his administration.
Bala Mohammed said, through active collaboration between government, security and general public, the present security challenges would be address.
He Called on the Federal Government to support the commitment of states and Local Governments in mitigating the security problems.
The Inspector General of Police Usman Alkali Baba, represented by the Assistant Inspector General, Federal Operation Jonson Baba Tunde Kokoma said security needs adequate funding to ensure regular patrol, noting that the move would boost their moral.
While assuring of using the vehicles for the purpose they were meant for, the IGP commended the Governor for what he described as a step in the right direction.
