Governor Bala Mohammed Presents Over 195 Billion Naira for 2022 Budget Estimate.

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has presented over one hundred and ninety five billion naira budget estimate for twenty twenty two fiscal year to the State House of Assembly.

Presenting the proposed appropriation tagged Budget of Consolidation and continuous commitment, Governor Bala Mohammed said the estimate intended to consolidate on the ongoing provision of physical infrastructure and basic amenities across the state.

The budget comprised over one hundred and ten billion, six hundred and twenty million naira representing fifty seven percent of the total budget as capital expenditure while recurrent expenditure stands as over eighty four billion, three hundred and seventy five million naira representing forty three percent.

Bala Mohammed explained that the budget will be finance by the federal statutory allocations, internally generated revenue as well as external and internal loans.

The Governor who noted that public hearing was conducted across the three senatorial zones in the course of the budget preparation said concerted effort would be made to ensure it full implementation towards improving the quality of lives of Poor’s and vulnerables.

Whe soliciting for continuous support and harmonious working relations with of the assembly, Bala Mohammed said his administration will sustain formulation and implementation of peoples oriented projects.

Speaking after receiving the budget proposal, the Speaker of the State Assembly Abubakar Sulaiman assured of prompt passage of the budget after it subjection to legislative action

Abubakar Sulaiman also described the performance in the last year’s budget as commendable.
