GOVERNOR BUNI WANT CORP MEMBERS TO BE STEADFAST IN THEIR PERSONAL AND GROUP ACTIVITIES

Yobe state Governor Mai Mala Buni wants the newly posted NYSC members to the state to be steadfast in their personal and group activities for the objective of the scheme to be realised.
Governor Mai Mala Buni made the call at the swearing in ceremony of the 2023 Bach B stream I Corp members held at the NYSC Permanent Orientation camp, Dazigau in Nangere local government area of Yobe state.
The Yobe state Governor represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Wealth creation, Economic Empowerment and Employment Generation Abdullahi Bego also charged the Corp members to imbibe the ground rules of the NYSC to fortify themselves for greater challenges ahead.
Governor Buni further directed security agencies and community leaders to ensure that conducive environment was created for all to thrive.
Earlier, the Yobe state coordinator of the NYSC Hajiya Hafsat Yarima explained that the three weeks orientation exercise consist of a comprehensive programme that include military Drills, Man ‘O’ war, leadership training, language skills and entrepreneurship lectures among others.
According to her Corps Members would be exposed to programmes and activities that will give them a better understanding of the objectives of the NYSC Scheme as well as the Environment, Language and the Culture of their host community
The oath taking for the one thousand three hundred corp members was administered by Justice Amina Shehu on behalf of the Yobe state Chief Judge.
