Kano state hisbah board has reaffirmed it’s dedication in working with relevant stakeholders in promoting mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence in the country.
Commander general of the Kano state hisbah board Sheikh Dr. Harun Muhammad Ibn Sina stated this while recieving members of a non governmental organization from Kogi State, Pastoral resolve at the board’s headquarters, Sharada Kano.
According to the Commander General, the board was committed to promoting good moral attitudes and eradicating societal vices.
Sheikh Ibn Sina charged members of Pastoral Resolve to use their their experience and knowledge gained during the visit to change the negative percention about hisbah operations.
Also speaking, the director general of the Kano state hisbah board Dr. Aliyu Musa Aliyu Kibiya described the visit as timely.
He called on the non governmental organization to emulate hisba’s system of managing issues related to drug abuse,domestic violence and other similar vices in Kogi State.
Earlier speaking,the program manager of Pastoral resolve,Malam Munji Sulaiman explained that,were on a two day visit to kano state to exchange ideas on security challenges and how to address them.
He said the delegation would visit Dala,Fagge,Nasarawa and Kano municipal local government areas.
He commended Kano state hisbah board for the warm reception and promised to use judicious use of the knowledge gained.
